Is the wood stock on the 30-30 the same stock as the shotguns get with the addition of a recoil pad?

So what is the major difference?  Is it the drop at the heel?  I know its a bit longer.  The shotgun stock is just so comfortabe for me.  I have a
Tracker II and it really pulls up nice.  Therefore, my questions.  I very rarely have been able to shoulder a rifle or shotgun and immediatly line up the sights like I could on the Tracker II when I picked it up the first time in the store.  That's why I came back to the HR/NEF.  I like the way they feel and shoot.  The Tracker I have is part of a Combo that came with a 24inMod Choke barrel. So how do I know if its the shotgun or the Huntsman stock?
