I'm definitely a Christian.  I'm not as much a trapper as I should be considering how much of it is in my blood.  My great grandfather, my grandfather, a few of my uncles and even my Mom are trappers.  Once I get out of the militay, I'll probably come around.  I'll be living with a friend who has a coyote problem (he wants to raise the rabbit population on his poroperty), so I'm planning on remedying that one for him.  I figure that will give me a few extra bucks too.

Zach, my friend, I see where you coming from. How can one walk among the creations of God and not believe in Him? Apologies to those who don`t see it that way.

I get a little more religion after opening day especially...you know, pray for a catch at the next set I'm checking, for decent weather, and that the ice won't give way under my feet when it makes those little creaky-moany sounds with each step onto it.
I have called out His name many a time when a #3 goes off and snags the inside area of my thumbs, or when a slip of the knife leaves my finger tip bleeding more than the critter did, or when I first notice that I really did snag my waders on that last barbed wire fence (I generally don't notice that until I am in the water at the next stop).
The Maker and I have had some special discussions about certain thieves too.
All kidding aside, this is a subject very near and dear to my heart...and I do take religion very personally.

I know what you mean! LOL

Hey, I think God does not like anyone who steals traps! I think he would get upset too when he got his thumb caught!  :)
