Spot lights w/ Handi and Rabbits
« on: February 19, 2005, 06:18:51 PM »
I could not make the pig hunt 'cuz my old man knees are swollen and HURT (yes, I am a wuss!)! So, I decided to go rabbit hunting instead, this time of year it dont hurt my knees 'cuz am not in bed of truck but in my drivers seat. None of the son in laws or Grandsons could go, so it got my new toy and went. Guys if you hunt or boat, espically alone, you gotta try this:

Optronics Motion Pro

It is the greatest thing since sliced bread! If you've ever hunted at night with a spot light (eat your HEARTS out all you non spotting states) and tried shooting while holding the light, well, it is less than desirable. This thing suctions on to my roof, has full horizontal and vertical range of motion and is remote controlled. I can drive, scan with the light, pick up the Jack, stop, sight and BAM! Dead Jack! No fumbling trying to hold light and rifle and all of that. Plus, it is affordable! the price shown is BEFORE a $10 rebate.

I got fifty jacks in 2 1/2 hours using this and it really works, I can go alone now to 'kill da wabbit'!

Also, the 204 Ruger is becoming my FAVORITE round! I will not bore you with more terminal effect pictures on Jacks, but it is awesome. Used my Handi rifle in 204 w/ the 3-9X50 BSA and it really worked well. If you are looking for an inexpensive entry into 204 the NEF works very nicely!
Thanks and Gig''em
