Originally there was only the 8 or 10 inch barrels for the Contender (I think). For whatever reason (marketing, I guess) TC called the 14 inchers "Super 14" when they came out. No difference, just 4 more inches of barrel. You will also see "Hunter" barrels which have the TC muzzle tamer and some Hunters even had a spring loaded ejector.
