New Sidekick pre shot bragging
« on: February 26, 2005, 01:24:58 AM »
Bought a Sidekick 24" SS/composite and it feels like a feather in my hands.Put a Mueller 2x7x32 scope on it.The rings I used are of a hi nature with a see thru milled out for using iron sights on a running deer.My Handi .223 is arranged the same w/out the high rings.I have to hunt for the scope when shouldering the piece. This Sidekick comes up everytime so clear and no stock crawling needed.

Does anyone know the model rings from Wallyworlld that would do same for the .223?I sure want to change them on the rifle.

thx for the reply,
lizzzard

I forgot to add that owning a Kodiak with the same setup, putting it to my shoulder felt like trying to balance a long handled shovel. The Sidekick comes up real easy and is much steadier for these old hands. It feels like I could carry it all day. Here's hoping it's a shooter, gonna be 25 here today w/N.wind ,not brave enough today.
