deerslayer15:  You may or may not be able to order or purchase the parts you need based on your age.  This may, or rather should be something your parents should deal with.  I believe it is illegal for underage individuals to order gun parts over the internet.  And, I know that if you walked into a gun store and asked for a gas piston for a SKS they would ask you to leave.

I do know that without a gas piston a SKS works only single shot.  Was that the intent with that rifle or is it a bad part?  Either way, I strongly recommend the 'parental' route and would ask other posters and responders to use a bit of judgement when dealing with a young person.  Mikey.

Mikey: It's just a bad part that needs to be replaced. I was not planing on purchasing the part myself (I don't have a credit card :-D) I was just doing the research on it so we (my dad and I) could get the best deal. My dad will be the one ordering (well has already). But thanks for lookin after me.

Doc: Thanks for the info. I (well...dad) went to tapco and ordered a few new thing for our gun

I'm a dealer.  I don't recall reading a regulation that would prohibit me selling gun parts (other than receivers and frames) to someone under the age of 18.  But then, I don't sell parts so I may have glossed over those chapters.  I'll read them again today.
