Bang for the buck, how does the PSE Kudu shoot? I just can't cough up "custom" money right now.

i have a pse sable. i have looked at the impala's and kudu's. aint one shread of difference between any of them as far as i can tell. the sable shoots well enough. if i had to do it all over again i would contact mike at bruin custom recurves (antigo, wisconsin). when i was at his shop he had several of his used recurves for resale and they were in the ballpark of a new pse. matter of fact next year the pse is going up for sale and that is what i am going to do.

the only grip i have about the pse is the tip overlays. plastic. and they dont even look good.

Hey JeffG......your post is a bit old (Sept 04) but I just found it.
I just bought a Kudo last week. got a really great deal I figure,
$170.00 NIB, You've had yours for 5 months now.... what do you
think about it? Mine is 55#. I will be taking it out probably
tomorrow to the range to let some arrows fly.

I like it. It's fast and light. Mine is a 55 # too. I out a cheapie bow quiver on it, and camo'ed the limbs with acrylic paint and I shoot off of the shelf. It shoots where look, and I can't ask for much more than that. Good luck with yours.

:cry: ...... :evil: well after 150 shots thru it with 5575 gold tip arrows,
29 inches and 100 grn field tips............the top limb is cracked !!!
took it out for the second time yesterday, and shot 56 arrows thru it.
was talking with some friends, looked at my bow on the rack and
noticed the lamination on the top limb, about 6 inches from the tip.
lamination was cracked, wood is split within the lamintaion.

very depressing.

Yeah, I would say that stinks. I wouldn't hesitate to get another if it happened to me...I love mine. Good Luck!

thanks, I guess PSE has a real good service dept. everyone I have
spoken with has told me that I should have no problem once I
contact PSE and they will send me another bow. we'll see.........

I went back to store where I bought the bow.... Sportsmends Warehouse,
guys were nice. they offerend to replace the limb. As we were talking the
guy at the desk noticed the odd mark right near the tip of the limb.
Apparently, before I purchased the bow some idiot dry fired the
bow at the store. The Bow was put up in the back to get the paperwork to send it to PSE. When I asked to see the KUDO, another guy went in the
back to grab one and grabbed the one that was dry fired !!! So, the PSE
isn't of poor quality. I got the New limb.....have shot it 2-3 times, and the
bow works great !!!
