375-06?

Does the 375-06 exist? I thought I remember reading about it, but then I read that the 35s were the largest diameter bullets that would work in a 30-06 case.

Oh yes, there is a .375 in an 06 case out there. .35 cal. is the largest in a factory loaded round, but I own a .411 Hawk, which is the -06 case necked out to .411. To do this you have to open the case up down past the shoulder because the shoulder dia. of the original case is less than .411. If you want to take Take a look at some rounds base on the -06 case you might want to check out the Hawk  rounds on www.z-hat.com.

Hi,

I believe SSK has 375-06 something or other that loads into a Ruger #1.  Gets very close to the 375HH ballistics with light for caliber bullets.
