Have any of you heard of an Egyptian made .22 rifle called the Cadet?  It looks almost identical to a BRNO/CZ 452.  I'd like to get some information about age and approximate value. . .Thanks!

Never heard of one but if they make them like they do the Maddi AK clone they make I would be hesitant to buy one. Jim
Said I never had much use for one, never said I didn't know how to use it.

I finally found out that the Cadet is made by Maadi.  It's identical to the Brno training rifles made for Egypt, and the CZ 452, though the finish isn't quite as nice.  The stock looks like it was made from scrap lumber.  BUT--it's mine and it's a shooter.  I shot all 3 of mine yesterday--Brno trainer, CZ 452, and Maadi Cadet.  They all shot sub 1" groups at 50 yards with the open sights and CCI Blazer bulk ammo.

Glad to hear they are a lot better than the ak clones they make I hated that rifle and traded off a tricked out SKS for it. Got took on that deal. Glad to hear it's a shooter. Jim
