Hi All

I cant decide which taurus tracker I want, the Ti or the SS. How is the recoil on the Titanium gun? Is the easy paking worth the light weight?

I have used both and really couldn't tell much if any difference in recoil. I would suggest you handle both and then decide on which one you prefer..

I have a 425SH4C. It is my primary carry gun. I load a 170g Sierra or a 215g lead for carry and both are very manageable to the power level (about 1100FPS) I load to. The extra 10oz of the SS might not seem like much but you sure will notice at the end of a long day of carrying it. I went with the 4-inch barrel over the 2-inch because of muzzle blast. The extra 2 inches of barrel makes all the difference in the world in what you hear and feel with that ported barrel.

Did you get the .41 mag titanium? Please, let me know how do you like it. I have one in layaway and I can't wait until is all paid off. When I get mine, I will load it with 220gr bullet and at a 1100 fps velocity or a 240g lead at about the same velocity. What are you using in yours?

.02 worth from the other corner. I started with a 2.5 TI and found the recoil to be more than I could handle. I traded it for a 4 SS and absolutely love it!
