Well, if an American company can make them affordable I am for it. I would love to have a Colt SAA. But they are going for over $1000.00. It is a custom shop weapon so naturally it is way over priced.
Winchester does not make the 92 anymore, except for special runs and certain distributors. But they are not priced for the average shooter. The latest 92's from Davidsons are going for over $800.00. They are better quality but are all limited to runs of 500 (Made in Japan). Of course the prices will be higher. Put them on the regular market and sell them for the same price of the 94's.
The same goes for the single action revolvers. The USFA Rodeo is a start. But they are only chambered in 45 Colt. The Colt Cowboy forget it. It's a Ruger clone. The Ruger is affordable but it is NOT a true copy of a Colt. Looks like a Colt but dimensionally and feel, NOT.
Yeah, I know Ruger's are "stonger."
