Load info 22 Hornet
« on: February 27, 2005, 02:12:59 PM »
Hey Guys, I am trying to load some H LIL GUN for my 22 Hornet. Using Winchester brass, WSR primers, Sierra 55 grain SP (.224) and 10.3 grains of LIL GUN. Is this a safe load? My manuals are out of date and everywhere I have looked info is scarce on LIL GUN with the Hornet. Have been advised that it is a very good powder for that caliber.
Thanks for any help you can give.

Look on the Hodgdon web site, i think you will find what you are looking for. I was loading lil gun for my hornet out of Hodgdons annual magazine (last years), and if i recall, 12 grs. was starting for all the bullet weights. Do not hold me to that, i am going on memory only! I did go to Hodgdons site for S&W 500 loads, and they where all there- gotta love that! Good luck- Tad :D
