What if Hornady applied their light magnum technology to the 30 carbine ?
How about if they could load it with a 120 gr.HP bullet at say 2200- 2300 fps ?
Would it interest anyone ?
Would it work on deer ?

Sounds like a good idea.  Would give .357, .44, and .45 carbines some competition without a rimmed cartridge.  Would the gas operation of the carbine be affected though?

in other light mags it hasn't but that would be a challenge maybe / maybe not !
Hope if enough people weigh in they  (Hornady ) may read it and say now that's an idea !
It might make a nice social adjustment tool also !
a soft tip bullet would be nice also !
