shipping for warranty service
« on: February 28, 2005, 09:33:10 AM »
I have to send a handi back for service, and barrel fitting (44 mag, thanx guys.)  I called the customer service phone number.  I started to describe my problem and he cut me off and said to send it in.

How should I send it?  The original box fits well, but I'm sure it describes the contents.  How did you send yours?

He said to send a letter with contact info and what I want them to do.  Will they call me when they get it, or will they just fix it and send it back?

Here's a previous thread on the subject...They'll return warranty only stuff usually quicker than barrel fittings, FWIW. If you ship UPS, you'll know when then get it by checking tracking online, same for USPS if you ask for Delivery Confirmation service at the time of mailing.
