I have a 25 acp breech plug for my Encore uses small rifle primers What I was wondering if anyone could tell me which primers are hottest and which are cooler

I think CCI is the hottest, you can also use Magnum Small rifle primers if you need real hot primers or go to small pistol primers. I just use the CCI small rifle primers and I have not had a problem at all.

I use CCI's BR4 in my .223 NEF. Works great......(Besides, I like the little initial on the cap)
