I thought you might find this interesting. Since several of my customers have been after me to get into building double rifles I have decided to do so. This is my current project and is based on a French action with a one piece mono block. In this picture the rifle is basically ready for proof testing. Since I know the proof pressures of both the action and the pressure of the 450 # 2 cartridge I expect no problems. The 450 proof pressures are lower then the original proof loads for the action. Even so it will be fired from a shooting machine and at a safe distance!!! If you guys want I will keep you informed as work goes on. What do you think of the blank I am thinking of using for the stock? I have not decided for sure yet, it is claro walnut.

I do not know why these pictures will not come up I think I am doing every thing the same as always I will try another picture.
So that worked so lets try the other picture.
