New Mexico Trophy Antelope Hunt (2 spots)
« on: March 01, 2005, 12:09:41 AM »
I am taking a group to New Mexico, in mid-september (Sep 16-18), for a trophy antelope hunt.  This is a private ranch hunt that is 2x1 fully guided.  The ranch is about 100 mile from alberqerque.

My expectations for this hunt would be an antelope that scores over 80" B&C.  In fact, the biggest problem that most people have on this hunt is seeing a 75" antelope, on opening morning, and filling their tag with the "biggest antelope that they have seen in their life".  I can't fault a guy for taking an animal that is bigger than any that they have shot to date but 80" and up is what you want on this hunt.

Price is $2000 with the landowner permit INCLUDED in the price.  The state issued license/tag is $211.

Spyro, for clairification is this hunt like the one you and I have discussed before? Meaning you and some folks have booked this and you're just trying to fill all the slots with none of the money going to you? If so, it's OK as long as you're not making money on it.
