I'm finally a life member of the NRA.  I used their easy-pay life membership in which I paid $25 per quarter. Sometimes a little more. It's a good deal on a worthwhile membership. If you've wanted to become a life member but couldn't cough up the $750 to do it, the easy-pay plan may be interesting to you.

Welcome and congratulations!  Good work.

I had a lucky break with a fat overtime check, many years ago while I was single.  Saw the price going up so made the investment. Never regretted it.  Now I try to make some annual donations to the ILA, Whittington Center and the Olympic Shooting Team.  Nothing big but I figure my little bit helps keep the wheels rolling.

Glad I did it when it was still just $500.  The extra $250 bought a lot of ammo over the years.   8)

I did it back in the '70s when it only cost $125.
Of course, gas was 28 cents a gallon, too!!

I was thinking about it recently, but I may not be around in 25 years to break even. :-)

I'm aging myself here, but I bought a five year NRA membership for $20 when annual dues were an exhorbitant $5, with the understanding that I could apply the $20 toward a life membership anytime within the five year period. After about 4 1/2 years they announced that life memberships were going from $100 to $125 so I somehow scraped up the $80 to convert to a life membership.  As a young married man with three kids in diapers it was a struggle.

After feeling guilty for several years I sent them additional funds to convert  to an Endowment membership.  I still contribute annually.  It's not just about money.  I love the NRA.  Please continue to support them.

I became a life member in 1969, back when it was cheap. $175 as I recall, I`m now a Benifactor. Wether shooters become life members or just annual members, they should all join the NRA.
