SSK Industries a GBO Sponsor. Click on the banner at top of TC Handgun Forum or close up the space and put a .com on the end of the name.

I picked up a couple of trigger springs from Mike Bellum at a gun show and did it myself. His web page has the directions on it, but don`t take out the hammer spring, it is 1 step farther than you have to go. I might also say, as does his web page, that the pull weight your spring says it is may not be what you get. I picked up 2 springs that were suposed to 1 1/2 lb. trigger springs. 1 is about 6 oz. and the other 12 oz. I gave $8 ea. for them, and you really don`t need any special tools to put them in.

He specifically said he did not want to do it himself.

yes, he did say he did not want to do it himself. I was recently in the same position. I was very hesitant to do it myself. but, i got a spring from ***** (i put the stars in myself to save moderator the trouble) I followed the directions and had it done quickly and easily. I am very happy with the result.

I do presume that if you sent it to a gunsmith, he would probably do some extra honing or something. for those who have sent it out to a gunsmith, what did they do?

a side note, why does ***** get *ed out?

thanks
