I've seen turkeys out in this one field every day and every single time I drive by it. No matter what time of day or what day it is. Only thing is, the owner of that field and I don't get along very well. So unless dem turkeys fly my way, they'll be in somebody else's sights  . And I'm miles over the hill. So I better call REAL good :)  :-D . Good luck on dem longbeards, ya'll!  :D

I have been seeing a lot of turkeys in fields as well. A few weeks ago on one of the main routes through the county I bet I saw close to a hundred birds in a 12 mile stretch. It seemed every field had a flock in it. I don't know what the biologist are saying, but I think this year there will be plenty of young birds here in VA.
Good Luck,
Stan
