I need a new stock for a Ruger #1, light tropical in 45-70

:D  :?: :D
I have been on a rather long journey of trying to find a replacement stock for my Ruger #1 in either walnut or laminated. Ruger will not sell me the stocks, and will only replace what originally came on the gun. MPI stocks are $650, and boyds only makes the butt. I want a standard front end (not the alex henry) and have a 13.5 length of pull with recoil pad installed. Does anyone know any other makers?  :blaster:  :D  :D   :biggun:

« Reply #2 on: December 13, 2005, 06:41:38 AM »
I have removed a Bell & Carson Black synthetic stock set from a #1B I purchased last winter . It is in really good shape & has a black recoil pad but no sling swivel studs. $125 shipped, 1st come/first served!
