Tip for fleshing bvr

After bvr is skinned out and if hide and fat is room temp and not chilled or set up put in freezer or set outside to chill before fleshing as it help when using or fleshing knive two handle knife or single handle knife when doing them on a beam or on board or over your knee.  Also on females  be carefull around inside of front legs as you can put a hole  in hide from fleshing hard over nipple... You can slice off nipple with sharp knife  or snip with finger nail clippers before  fleshing.

Good tips Rdfx.  I also like to cut off the lips, nose and ears when finished.  

I also like to freeze my bigger beaver for a week or so before freezing.  It seems to me like the fat and gristle cuts off easier than a fresh beaver.  Seems like it to me anyways.
