How would these three rounds compare in a Contender rifle?  I am leaning toward the 444.  I know T/C doesn't make the 444 but I can get a 44mag barrel rechambered and use it on a G2 frame.

Wouldn't the 375 JDJ be a clear winner , better bullet choice ( spitzer type)    ,  better trajectory ( longer range), proven record, it has killed everything from deer to elephant, real good case life , I didn't check specs but I would think higher velocity and more ft. pds. of energy. The 220 GR.hornaday for deer size game  and the  270 gr. hornaday for elk size. With my 12 1/2 '' and magna port its very managable to shoot.

I love the 444 Marlin, but the 375 JDJ would be your better choice IMO.  :D
