Knife I made.
« on: March 29, 2005, 08:59:48 AM »
My very first handcrafted Damascus Bladed Knife. The blade is approx. 3.875" and is a combination of 1084 and 15n20. The handle is Bolivian Rosewood with Nickel Silver Pins and Lanyard Tube. Overall Length is approx 8.5". It also has a custom fitted hand-stitched leather pouch style sheath.  I am a novice Bladesmith and this is the first blade I am offering for viewing by the general public. Comments and criticisms are welcomed. Please feel free to contact me for further information.

Thanks for your time!

Did you do the damascus yourself?  Very nice work - from what I can see the fit and finish is excellent.  Not a bad looking sheath either.  If there's one thing I royally suck at it's sheaths.

Yes,  I did the damascus using a coal forge, hand held hammers, and my anvil.  I also handmade/handstiched the sheath.

Thanks!
