Hi all,
Well yesterday me and my Dad went to the gun shop and got a new pair of 2" inch rev. . He got Taurus in .38 spec. blued. I got a Rossi .357 in SS.
I know there not top of the line and I know that I'm not going to "WOW" the forums with this news. I guessed figered I'de share my experiences with you all. I have a few handguns (.44mag/.50 AE desert eagle, Glock 22 .40cal., and a hand full of Kimber TLE swat/bp10-2, stainless customs, and two SFA fullsize), but I have no rev. and I was not sure I was going to like it much so I stayed in a lower price range.
I really like the 2 guns me and my oldman picked out, he got the air weight frame, I did not I like heavy guns. Always have. They shot great out to about 30-35 feet then it goes down hill fast, but inside that I was touching holes with holes. Very tight groups.
I am very happy and proud of them and just wanted to share with you all. I have along way to go with rev. I hope to learn more and hopefully get into a nice top end S&W or something like that. One of the biggest things is I have a CCW and 5"inch custom 1911s can be a little bit of a pain to carry in the heat of the summer. I know I could have went with a compact Kimber, but, I just wanted a little change.
Now last can some one tell/teach me a few things about rev. .
1st-How does a magnum get its name? A .38 spec. to me seems very close to a .357 but in fps there is no comparison.
2nd-How many load types are there for the .357?
3rd-How does the .357 hold vs. the .45CAL?
4th-Were should I take rev. from here? Longer bbl or bigger Cal. or both?
and last I know, I know, get a S&W.
Any help would be very cool.
Thanks
