When would you use a full length resizing die over a neck resizing die.

In most standard factory rifle chambers using a neck sizing die may give you a few more loadings before discarding the brass but not much gain in accuracy. Semi autos, levers, and pumps usually feed and extract better with brass full length resized and some may need small base dies for reliable operation. I have a neck sizer die for 30-06 but I went back to full length resizing for it too.

I would choose the full lenght over the neck sizing in hunting situations where the game is bigger than varmints.
That neck sizing will gain you abit of accuracy but sooner or latter you are going to end up with a stuck case. Perhaps when you are trying to chamber a round with a 30" mulie in sight.
