Scope rings on Sidekick...
« on: March 19, 2005, 04:37:36 AM »
Howdy all, just ordred my first sidekick and was
wondering which rings I'll need to mount a Nikon
2-7X32 shotgun scope on the NEF factory rail mount.Would
med. rings give me enough clearance for the hammer
or will I need high rings? Thanks for any insight on this.
ps: passed up a T/C G2 to go this route as every G2 in
the shop was sloppy(wobble) when opened. My Pardner
has no slop opened up and hope this sidekick is the same.
Thanks,
Gary

I used Weaver high rings on mine,,I just have a BSA 4x on my gun with an eighth inch clearance for the hammer.
I also went to a monte carlo stock for a better sight through the scope.

I went with Weaver high rings on my 3x9 Busnell and I have plenty of hammer clearance and I have a monte-carlo stock which gives me a better sight clearance.  :D
