Scope question:
« on: March 18, 2005, 09:31:28 AM »
Is there anybody who sells scopes with a ½ or 5/8 dot installed that does not void the factory other than the Leopold’s sold by Premier Reticular?  I was thinking B & L, Weaver etc. I know I can have a dot installed in a scope by Lee, but I think the warranty would be voided. I also wanted to just buy the scope with the dot installed ready to go.
Thanks
Tedfl

If you search this site or scrool back to past posts you will find discussion of factory Weaver T-24's with 1/2 min dot.  My understanding is that the first ones had 1/8 min clicks, but later ones had 1/4 min clicks.

If you go the the Bushnell web page they show the 4200 Elite with a 1/4 min dot.  Not what you wanted -but better that the usual 1/8 min or mil dot.

OOPS!!! - Guess I should have checked the current catalog.  I know that they were available because I have two of them.  However, on checking the new catalog I see that the 1/2 min. dot is still avaible under their custom reticle program, the model # is 42624M, the charge for the 1/2 min dot is $55.00.  Bushnell Riflescopes, Attn: custom reticles, 8500 Marshall dr., Lenaxa, KS 66214
