Finally, the grouping I wanted
« on: March 20, 2005, 03:50:25 AM »
Just got back from the range. I've got some very good news   The 223 is dead on! I'm glad that I got that sight vise yesterday. Made a world of difference. It took about 6 shots and then I made some fine tune adjustments. I know one thing though, the rifle shoots better a little dirty. Never had that happen. While I was out there, I went and cleaned it and did my polishing also, so it's back in the vault, now! I'm going to have to leave the coffee alone in the morning. I did this morning. I think that it's time to make sure the 45-70 is still on the mark. Probably next weekend. Had to let you guys know.  :yeah:  Then maybe the 30-30. Oh well, glad that it's finally  shooting sub inch groups  That just made my day!

That kind of satisfaction is worth every ounce of effort you have put into it.

Good shootin Tommy 8)  I am loving my 223 Ultra more and more every chance I get to shoot it. H&R's are just fun rifles.
