It all depends on who's hands the weapon is in as
to what can be done with it.  I would not feel under gunned
in bear country with my .35 Model 336. Mine will print
under an inch at 100 yards with a 200 grain soft point.

I don't think shootin' a bear at 100 yards can be considered self defense.  :wink: I picked up a 336 in .35 Rem in a recent widder skinnin' and might git around to shootin' it someday. All I could find was Winchester 200 grain Hollow Points. Sure hope the Marlin chambered in a Remington cartridge don't refuse the Winchester ammo.  :oops:
