Howdy Everyone,
Was looking around a Bull Berrys site the other night.
Do any of you have a Encore in a 50 cal other then a muzzleloader?
Bull Berry list a 50ae,50/70 and a 50/110.
I already have a 500 Lineb. pistol and a 50 Alaskan marlin.
So I have molds to make bullet etc.
Then 50ae would be the cheaper of the three to shoot but it is a little smaller bullet. But with the 500S&W has got the ball rolling on that size bullet.
Any buddy got one they have played with for a while?

I have a Gary Reeder SW 500-TC Encore-10" bll-plus muzzle brake-12" total,I took 2 deer this year shooting a 395 gr WFNPB at 1350 fps.I cast my own bullets so I have shot many different bullet weights in the TC,It is very accurate1- 1/2" at 50 with the 395gr load.Gary's makes very accurate barrels.

I have a 10" TC factory barrel in 50 ae. Have killed a small bear and several feral hogs, all with excellent results. Super shooter. I seat the bullets long and load quiet a bit above book max, so I can't post the loads. I use the 275 gr. Barnes XPB and the same weight muzzle loader bullet.
