Ya know how many times you were just 30 seconds too late for that good "deal"? I went to a gun show sunday and there on the table was a Uberti "1862 Police" new in the box, now I've been wanting one of these for a few years. Next to it was a Uberti 1860 Army, yes, new in the box! I turned the price tag over on both guns and it said $150.00 I looked up at the dealer in disbelief and he said, "I can do better, how about $125.00 each?" There were two that didn't get away!!!!!!

I've got a gun show coming up ths weekend, and I'm already dreaming of the bargains to be had. You did very well indeed. These are two of the finest revolvers out there. Enjoy.

Sounds like a good deal indeed!  Doesn't make me feel better though, I missed out on a very nice looking Colt signature dragoon.

I just went to a gun show a few weeks ago and there wasn't a cap and ball of any kind to be had.

As chance has it, I mentioned to a co-worker that I had it bad for a cap and ball pistol and he said, 'I have one that I got for Christmas under the bed.  I've never fired it. You can have it for $70."  It turned out to be a Pietta 1851 44cal Navy w/ a 7.5" barrel.  Now I gotta learn something new, dang it.
