Anyone have one of these? Looks like a pretty neat little gun. Has anyone tried one at the range as yet? Thanks.

Don't know if I would call it "lttle"
I've been looking around trying to find one to check out in person. Haven't been able to locate one yet. Are they being produced yet?

Last I heard, they were scheduled to begin shipping in May. I'd guess at first, they'll be allocated and priced a bit high. Not my COT anyways, I'll pass and let it go to the next guy.

If you reload you're in luck with that gun because it'll shoot 45 Colt also. So, you really have a broad range of velocities you can call upon.

Unless you get one in .480 Ruger.

I held one at Ruger's booth at the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation Convention. Those things are crazy! The front sight feels like it is just on the end of the frame! Well technically it is, the end of the barrel is flush with the SRH's extended frame. I belive the barrel is 2 1/2". Bound to be a real fire breather. I think Ruger should chamber a five shot version in the .475 Linebough/.480 Ruger as well as in there standard SRH.

It seems to me that in either caliber, 454 or 480, the Alaskan Series would make for an interesting CCW!
