On your next inline, would you buy one with a thumbhole or regular stock and why?

I did buy one with a laminated thumbhole stock and love it. Plus it looks great.   :D

I bought a thumbhole.  The straight pull on the trigger allows for more precise shooting.  For the applications I bought this particular gun for that is better.   Most target rifles are either thumbhole or McMillan A4/A5-type "tactical" stocks which allow thumbhole-type holds.
The downside is they are not quite as handy for impromtpu hunting use.  If I shoulder the gun quickly I tend to get too little eye relief (ouch!).  Large gloves can also be an issue in cold weather.
If I wanted a gun for woods hunting or where the majority of shots would be offhand or withing 100 yards, I'd go regular.

Thumbhole vs. Regular Stock?

2/3 of my inlines are thumbhole stocked. The third is a handgun and can't be.   I just like the feel of a thumbhole stock vs. a regular stock. There's currently one inline that I want but have held off hoping that they'll do a thumbhole stock for it before long. I waited 2 years to buy an Omega with a thumbhole so I can be patient.

I thought I posted this before but it is not there?? I also believe the thumbhole stock is more a target stock and I prefer the standard type for hunting. As you can see others have different opinions.
