I just got from midway, a 4 hole lee auto turret press,pro auto disc powder measure ,and some misc extras.set the press up for 44mag.Seems to me the powder measure throws about 1 gr smaller charge than the guide says ,is this normal?The press seems real nice,A good step up from my anniversery kit I think.SGB :D

Depends on the powder.  I use the manual as a starting guide for a powder charge, but each time I've found that Lee errors on the side of safety, having a lower weight thrown than what the manual says it should be.

Mine always throws a little light but you can change holes and get closer to what you want, I really enjoy it for my pistol loading. 8)
