Any chance of a Handi in 7.62x39?
« on: March 31, 2005, 02:30:41 PM »
Since the Handi rifles are really economical, wouldn't an economical cartridge like the 7.62x39 be a good barrel to produce?

The ammo is plentiful, inexpensive and fun to shoot

I would buy one in a heartbeat.

I am going to contact NEF and request that they start producing it.

What do you guys think?

You really need to try the search function, it offers a lot of info all on one subject. Click the Search near the top of the page, select NEF/H&R Centerfire forum from the list to locallize your search here.

The 7.62x39 is already planned for this year, but only as an accessory barrel  by July....BUT....the bore on them will be .308", not the better to shoot cheap ammo .311", so don't plan on shooting cheap ammo real accurately.
