9' cataraft plus 16 foot canoe plus two 8' 2x4's =catamanoe. We put this sucker together to go out onto the ocean, and she was stable as anything, went down the beach a couple of miles, fished, and had a good time camping. Caught a big skate (kind of like a ray), flounder, and some seastars (grumble). Good to know it works!!
