Removing mag. tube

I have a 336 35 Rem. I need to take the mag. tube off to install a new follower. Does it just pull out after you remove the screw in the bottom of the barrel?
Thanks

Many times after you remove the barrel band on the forearm you have to literally pry the forearm from the mag tube. It should then just come right out.
