I just saw something that looked like little cracks in the forcing cone of one of my friends ruger bisleys it is a blued 7.5" 44 mag is this normal :eek:

It is when you push bullets that are too soft at pressures they are not designed to operate at.

not normal at all. have it checked by a gunsmith or send it back to ruger to have it checked out.

I had the same thing happen to me with my S&W 357. Had to send it back to the factory for a new barrel.
