You can call till the cows come home and it won't help. They make one choke, they sell ONE choke, they don't want to hear any other ideas. In my opinion...it would be a better choke if it was extended past the length of the barrel with a knurled section for easy installation and removal, but the most important fact would be that you could easily recognize that the choke is installed before you accidentally fire a full-house load Jacketed 45 Colt and break the choke and possibly blow-up the barrel. Yes..it would be good to be carefull that this does not happen...but it DOES happen....probably to EVERYONE eventually.
I am also interested in aftermarket chokes...but have never heard any talk of anyone providing them.
