Just my humble opinion but if you're an avid turkey hunter, you know a lot of tricks for hunting coyotes. You already know how to play the wind, to set up against trees or other objects to break up your outline, and to blend into your surroundings with camo. I think now you just need to work with some calls (an area you probably have experience in too) and learn some vocalizations. I'd just suggest spending an evening looking through this forum and reading. You'll learn a bunch. Otherwise, go get a video tape from someone like Randy Anderson ("Calling all Coyotes" or "The Vermintors") or Sceery's tapes. They offer some pretty good basics on vocalizations and distress calling. But to me, half the fun was learning by trial and error. It's a lot of fun so good luck...
