Bog,
I've got a question for ya.
How many trees will a single beaver be chewing on in one night/day?
Do they usually work on 1 tree until they get everything off it they want, or is it possible that one beaver can be chewing on 4 or 5 different trees in different spots in any given night/day?
Just wondering........

Good question. But I don't have an answer. My guess is,they would work one tree till they are done with it,but I have no proof. They don't live long after I stumble onto them cutting,so I can't honestly answer.

I guess I'm just asking because I found 4 spots where beaver are chewing trees, and I'm just trying to get an estimate of how many are there.
I guess I'll have to wait till my traps fill up!
