Cleaning bullet molds

How do you clean the lead deposits from your bullet molds?

Carefully, With a light touch and a soft brush or carpenters pencil. I've only cleaned one that was galled totally from being in a hurry. I removed the sprue plate and put the mold in a pot of metal ready to cast. (750 degrees this time) When it came up to tempature all the metal brushed off easily. I clean molds when they're hot; not cold. Just my ideas; hope it helps

Plumbers torch.  I use it all the time.
