.32 H&R heavy bullet load data
« on: April 12, 2005, 07:35:26 AM »
I have seen several post about using heavy bullets (175 grain and 190) in 32 mag cases.  Does anyone have any load data for this combination?

Thanks, Rod

When I was doing that, I'd use WC680 (about like AA1680) and WC820 (pretty much the same as AA#9) and the RCBS 165 Sil. I made up a .300" sizer to size the noses of the bore riding bullets so they'd chamber easily, and use the powder charge to espablish the seating depth. That way I didn't need to resize cases - just prime and hand seat a bullet. You can't overload it with 1680, but you can run into problems with 820 and rifle primers. I'd imagine H110/WW296 would work well too, but I never tried it. It's an accurate setup and has plenty of power for 200M bigbore rams.
