First thing I would do is remove the rings, scope and mounts and clean everything up. Call it a "do over" remount the base, remount the lower rings, align them, lap them and mount the scope and tops. Reset your scope to zero, turn it all the way one way, count the turns all the way the other way, then go back half way.....just do the windage. Set up the barrel so you can see thru it and line it up with a distant street light. Now match the crosshairs and what you see thru the barrel. This will get you close if you are careful.....my bet is that you can do it and your adjustment will not be completely out one way.
