Slug gun scope ?

Hello everyone, im going to get a burris 4x scope for one of my guns, my ? is that should i take off my bushnell and put the burris on? will it hold up to the recoil of the 12 ga. slug? I know the bushnell did but im just afraid of it coming loose one of these days...thanx

i don't know about the scope but i would definitely change the scope base and rings. my bushnell has held up fine over the years no problems.
