The Beartooth Bullets website has a lot of information, including data on the 444 Marlin cartridge. Congratulations on getting a fine rifle and cartridge.

What do you have for reloading manuals?

Way to go 45Super.  Now, if you haven't already read the different threads, just down the line in this forum is one on the 444 and Black Bear, which is an excellent thread and there are also a couple of threads very worth reading in the Big Bore  Forum and the Lever Action Forum.

Also, TNrifleman has an excellent suggestion - get yourself on over to the Beartooth Bullet site and read everything Marshall Stanton has written about his work with the 444 - the guy should publish a book, really.  He also has some incredibly informative load data readily available.

And I will follow up on big medicine's question about your reloading manuals by suggesting that, if you do not already have some, get a library full, they will be the best resource you will ever invest in.

Now, when ya gonna shoot that baby????  Mikey.
