Did ya'll see the write up in the Aug Shooting Times? If so what do ya think about this one?
I'm gonna take a REAL close look it! Hopefully,I'll be looking at it for a long time at my house and at the range. Just have to wait for it to come out.

I didn't see the article but, I have been looking at these Taurus 1911s.  I want to hold one and check it out up close and personal!!  Does anyone know when they will hit the shelves?

I read the same article in Shooting Times August issue I'd want to see first hand what this gun shoots like. The gun magazines are not unbiased, how can they be when a lot of their revenue is based on advertising.

The Taurus may be a fine gun, but at the price it seems too good to believe. Just my .02, don't mean to be negative its just that being a new gun I'd want to thoroughly check it out before laying down my hard earned cash.
