Does anyone find the balance on there encore to far forward with heavy barrels on them. I have a synthetic stock on mine and with a 26" full bull barrel it is "off balance" is it me or have others found this. if so any solutions? I thought about putting some weight in the stock but don't want it to rattle

I think anytime you put a heavy barrel on a Encore it is going to be unbalanced. Try some lead shot in the stock to balance it out.

To kill the rattle I have used modeling clay and worked the shot into it. That keeps things in place. When I have the weight just where I want it I use bedding material to encapsulate the shot for good. Remember to weigh the clay and shot to determine how much shot to use in the finished product.

Cut the barrel to 22" ..... or even 20
