SS, we have an NEF/H&R Rimfire forum where this post should be...when Mac gets off work, he'll move it for ya....And yes, I have a Sportster 17M2, shoots real good, almost as good as my Sportster 17hmr, just not quite as flat shooting and less devastating on small critters. Try the Remington and Federal ammo, you'll be glad you did. You should be able to hit a ping pong ball at 100yds, mine shoots 1" groups or slightly less at 100yds.
